Privacy Policy

Mogged is developed by Martin Haindl ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect when you use the Mogged iOS app ("App"), how we use and store it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Anonymous Account

Mogged does not require a name, email address, or social login. When you first open the app, we automatically create an anonymous account using a randomly generated identifier. Your data is tied to this anonymous ID — not to any personal identity.

2. Data We Collect & Store

3. Face Photos

Face photos are never stored on our servers. When you take a face scan, the photo is sent directly to Google's Gemini AI for processing and then discarded. We only store the resulting scores and textual notes — not the image itself.

4. Food Photos

Food photos you submit are temporarily stored in our cloud storage to display in your in-app history. They are automatically and permanently deleted after 8 days, along with the associated analysis record.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. Data shared with the services above is limited to what is strictly necessary for each service to function.

6. Purchases & Payments

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment processing: apple.com/legal/privacy.

7. Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This removes all your data from our servers including scan results, habits, food logs, and your anonymous profile.

Food photos and their analysis records are automatically deleted after 8 days regardless of account status.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law (including the GDPR) to access, delete, or export your personal data. Because accounts are anonymous, the most reliable way to exercise these rights is through the in-app deletion feature. For any other requests, contact us at hello@haindlapps.com.

9. Children

Mogged is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
